[Update] Information on the Spoiler Prevention Feature and Image Editing Feature
—
Hello.
OpenStory is a community for your favorite works, created together with our fans.
To help our fans enjoy the community in a safer and more comfortable way, the following two features were updated as of July 8.
1. A spoiler prevention feature has been added.
You can now choose whether a community post contains spoilers when creating it.
If you check the "Contains Spoilers" box on the post creation screen, spoiler protection will be applied to that post.
For posts with spoiler protection enabled, the text and images will be blurred in the Home screen feed and the Community list on the island, and a “View Spoiler” badge will be displayed.
Click “View Spoiler” to remove the blur and view the content. Until you click it, nothing except the title will be visible, so feel free to browse with peace of mind.
We’ve updated the platform so that fans who haven’t seen the entire work yet and those who want to discuss it first can enjoy the experience while being considerate of one another :)
As for specific spoiler guidelines for individual works, it might be best for fans to determine these through communication within the island community.
2. An image editing (cropping) feature has been added to the fanworks/Post Editor
When creating fanworks or posts, you can crop the image to the desired area during the image upload step.
We’ve also added a feature for commonly used aspect ratios, allowing you to quickly edit images to popular ratios such as 1:1, 4:3, and 16:9.
We will continue to make improvements so that your creative activities and interactions with fans become even more enjoyable.
Thank you.
