Thank you so much for bringing this work into the world. To me, you are truly like a goddess. Thanks to this work of art you’ve created, I’ve found the strength to keep going. In fact, I deeply related to Kim Rok-su’s line, “I live because I can’t die 💔.” I have so many questions, but this one in particular has stayed with me.

Author, what were you thinking when you first conceived the character Kim Rok-su?

Kale’s journey of healing is truly heartwarming. Seeing her look back and realize, “I’m not alone,” or watching her start to take care of herself little by little—even if she’s not quite there yet (hehe)—is like watching a child learning about love, and it warms my heart. Every time the people around her treat Kale with kindness, my heart overflows with pride and love. Looking back on the journey so far, I can feel that this story has grown alongside us, and it brings me to the brink of tears. Thank you so, so much for creating the character of Kale.

People often say that authors are the ones who breathe life into a world, don’t they? As Eruhaven mentioned, even if Kale truly has a “tragic fate,” I hope he finds happiness within it. Even so, I love him so much. Kale is my light and my moon—he’s the reason I live.

But may I make one small request of the author? Please don’t make our Kale suffer too much. He’s already been through so much pain. Since you’re the only one who knows everything that happened in Kale’s past, I really want to know—but at the same time, deep down, I’m afraid to find out. Just thinking about how much more he must have cried alone and suffered makes my heart feel like it’s being torn apart.

Oh, and when Kale-nim smiles so honestly, warmly, and broadly, I can’t help but feel so happy.

Author, I have one last question I’m really curious about. How exactly do you make the lemon tea that Ron makes? Haha, I really wanted to try it, so I tried making it myself, but it didn’t taste the same. As the creator of this world, you must be the only one who knows the recipe, right? Do you really make it that way? Or do you literally just boil a whole lemon?
