[Question for the Author] Congratulations, Author!

Hello, Author!

Congratulations on the 8th anniversary of *Baekmangde*. To be honest, I got so busy starting with the White Star battle in Part 1 that I completely forgot about *Baekmangde* for a while, but

After hearing the news about Part 2, I rushed to catch up on the latest chapters, and I really enjoyed reading them.

I had a good laugh watching the author, who still loves meat as much as ever, and Kale, who is drifting further and further away from his dreams of being unemployed and retired.

At this rate, I don’t think we’ll have any trouble reaching our 10th anniversary. Don’t you want a 10th-anniversary serialization title? I’m sure it would be awesome.

I guess I’ve gone on a bit too much. Since this is one of the few chances I have to interact with the author, I couldn’t help but—well, should I say “my mouth” or “my hands” in a situation like this? Anyway, I just can’t contain my excitement. My questions are as follows:

1. I love all the characters in *Baekmangdeoe*. I was wondering if you have any plans to update the profiles of the main and supporting characters (including the villains) from Parts 1 and 2, whether in a collected volume or some other format. Since this is a novel, I hesitated a bit about whether it was appropriate to ask the author for specific physical descriptions, but since it seems like it would take even longer to see the appearances of other characters in the webtoon, I couldn’t wait any longer and decided to go ahead and ask.

2. I’m curious if the backstory—from Choi Jeong-geon’s time before he became the Only Survivor, including his encounters with the ancient power-sharing entities such as the “Stone-Throwing, Penny-Pinching, Gluttonous Goddess,” all the way to his meeting with the God of Death—is planned to be explored in a side story or short episodes.

2. In Part 1, Chapter 730, there’s a scene where Choi Jeong-geon transfers his power (the very power he’s now trying to give to Vicross) to Lee Su-hyuk. Could you explain why he decided to transfer that power to Lee Su-hyuk?

3. Looking solely at their appearances, is Choi Jeong-su really the one who looks the oldest among the three members of the Choi family—Choi Han, Choi Jeong-su, and Choi Jeong-geon? In the photo Choi Han saw, Choi Jeong-geon had a buzz cut(haha), but when he met Rok-su, his hair went from short brown hair to long black hair reaching down to his waist. Since he’s a character who’s undergone many physical changes, I’m wondering if this is just a change in appearance or if his age has changed as well, which is why I’m asking this question.

4. Could you tell me the names and Hanja characters for the characters from the Hyundai team—such as Choi Han, Choi Jeong-su, and Lee Su-hyeok—as well as those who appeared in Kale’s original dimension? I believe the Hanja character used for Rok-su’s name was mentioned in the main story, so I’d like to know which Hanja characters were used for the other Korean characters’ names.

5. I’m curious if there was an episode that was particularly difficult for you to write while serializing your work.

6. I’m curious if Suikan’s wings disappear when he transforms from a bird into a human. Will he look like an ordinary human?

7. I’m curious if Derth, Violan, Basen, and Lily are still unaware of On Hong Raon’s existence. As for On Hong, do they think of him as just a pet that Hans cherishes?

8. I think all the characters’ names are beautiful and sophisticated. Especially when I think of Eden Mir from Part 2, I realized that the author must put just as much effort into naming characters as they do into the story itself. I’m curious about what factors you usually consider when naming your characters.

9. If there were no limitations, is there any merchandise you’d most like to create or own?

I thought I’d condensed and organized this as much as possible, but it seems a bit disorganized and there are a lot of questions about Choi Jeong-geon. I guess he left a big impression on me—from his first mention, through his encounter with Rok-su, and then his reunion with Choi Han, haha.
