After seeing her past self before her reincarnation, she realized she could live a wonderful life even without the older man; and after experiencing the Mermaid Queen’s power, she vowed to become like her—that bold yet sincere ambition is so quintessentially that of a young girl… The way she says it’s not because someone guided her, but because she wanted to stand here herself—and that even though she received a lot of help, it was her own decision to accept it—is just so radiant… No wonder even the Mermaid Queen found her so endearing.
